On the top right-hand side of our internet browsers (be it Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox), there is a search engine text box where you can type in a word or phrase and your favorite search engine is engaged to find results. If you wish to change the search engine to another, follow these steps:

Internet Explorer:

1. Click on Tools, Internet Options.

2. In the General Tab, click on the Search 'Settings' button.

3. Click on your favorite search engine and select 'Set Default'.

4. Click on 'OK' twice to exit out and then restart IE.

 

Mozilla Firefox:

1. Click on the search engine icon to the left of the text box, on the right-hand upper side of the screen.

2. Select another search engine.
